"Without Prejudice"?
“Without Prejudice”?
You have probably heard this phrase quite often but what does it mean?
In broad terms “off the record“
More accurately if a person makes admissions or statements in a genuine attempt to settle a dispute these admissions or statements cannot be used in Court as evidence against the person that made them
Those people who may otherwise be more reluctant to say or communicate things in correspondence can do so without prejudice without fear that what they say or communicate will come back to bite them in the future.
