Statutory Payment Rates for 2025/26

The Government has set out increases to the statutory payment rates for 2025/26 as follows:-

• the standard weekly rates of Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Adoption Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay, Statutory Shared Parental Pay and Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay will increase from £184.03 to £187.18
• the weekly rate of Statutory Sick Pay will increase from £116.75 to £118.75
• The lower earnings limit to qualify for these payments will increase from £123 to £125 per week

The above rates will be confirmed when an Order is made and approved and are expected to take effect on 6 April 2025.
