Seasonal Drop in House Prices

The average price of property coming to the market for sale has seen a seasonal drop of 1.5% in August.

Traditionally the school summer holidays cause a dip in prices as buyers concentrate on enjoying their holidays.

However, a positive August housing market is anticipated; particularly with the first Bank of England interest rate cut for four years at the start of the month, which has contributed significantly to improve buyer demand.
