The Times have reported, quoting a survey undertaken by a well-established estate agent, that the property market is now bigger than the average size and has returned to pre-pandemic.  The return to pre-pandemic levels is attributed to the reduced interest rate and the long-awaited mass return of first time buyers.

The Bank of England recently released figures to show that the amount of monthly mortgage approvals is at the highest issued rate since September 2022, showing the fallout of the Liz Truss/Kwasi Kwarteng budget has all but been removed from the mortgage market.
